What we do:
Quickdraw Animation Society is a community space for independent animators. We are not a commercial production house, and as such, do not have animators working regularly as a part of our staff. We can connect interested parties to the animation community in Calgary through newsletter/web/facebook postings to our nationwide membership. Please read the following guidelines to determine if your posting would be appropriate for our membership.
What we look for:
Paid positions where labor is fairly valued – Quickdraw is committed to fair artistic wages, and will NOT post unpaid positions.
Cool, interesting work. The Quickdraw community is comprised primarily of independent animators, interested in contract or continuing work. This may include storyboard artists, animators, directors, illustration, cartooning, animation or drawing instruction, and more.
If your opportunity fits these criteria, please send a COMPLETE written post including the following:
Deadline for application and completion
Compensation for work
Details of contract including: nature of work, artistic style (digital, 3D animation, realism, cartoony, stop motion, etc.), length, music, examples of work you would like to emulate, company website, and/or any other significant details about project.
