Quickdraw Animation Society is one of the only non-profit animation production societies in North America and is proud to offer a world-class animation facility and resource for local and visiting animators. Offering the largest animation resource collection in Western Canada in our library, members are able to sign out books and media free-of-charge to help in their education and appreciation in the art of animation. Beyond the resource library, Quickdraw offers two classroom and workshop spaces, five production studios and access to both a screening room and a dark room.
Quickdraw’s downtown facility has a number of camera, production and post-production studios available for producing members to rent on daily, weekly or monthly terms. One of the last facilities in Canada with classical Oxberry camera stands, Quickdraw has the capability to shoot on 16mm, 35mm or digital. Studios can be set up with rental equipment or you can bring your own, are privately locked, and studio rentals are available with 24 hour access.
To find out more information or to book a studio, please contact Production Coordinator Tyler Klein Longmire at email@example.com
Darkroom film development facilities are available across the street at Untitled Art Society, and are available to rent for Quickdraw producing members. To find out more details or to rent the darkroom please contact Sally Raab at firstname.lastname@example.org.
